Yesterday saw the eagerly anticipated lottery draw for the South African National Lottery and National Lottery Plus. Many lottery players across the country patiently waited in anticipation to learn if their numbers had been chosen.
The National Lottery numbers were: 7, 19, 23, 25, 34 and 44, while the number 9 was the supplementary number.
For those who chose to play the slightly higher stakes of the National Lottery Plus draw, the chosen numbers were: 11, 17, 23, 25, 34 and 47. The supplementary number to win the top prize was 2.
Those fortunate enough to select all the correct 7 numbers were rewarded with the grand prize comprising a cash amount of R27, 795, 569.50 as well as an additional cash prize of R1, 000, 000.
The top prize for players of the National Lottery Plus was R187, 658, 100.
